191K1 Sewing Machine

The 191 is a class of machine that is often missing from most collections. Apart from being highly collectable, it is also a very practical machine for normal use, being closely related to the Class 15 models. It produces a very good stitch quality and with its type BAK motor and foot controller, it will handle any material with ease, from the lighest silks up to 6 layers of heavy denim. In fact if it will fit under the presser foot, then this machine will not just sew it with ease.

The machine is housed in a wooden base with a built-in fold-down extension table to support the fabric. It also has the benefit of reverse stitching and feed dogs that can be dropped for free motion embroidery work.

Please be sure to use the zoom facilty on the photos below to see the detail in close up. The machine is in very good cosmetic condition without any obvious wear to the decals. It just has the normal light pin scratches and small scissor nicks that are usually expected from normal use for this age of machine. The chrome is all very good.

The machine works perfectly in all respects and has been recently serviced.

The machine is housed in a particularly nice example of the fabric covered clip over storage. It will be supplied with spare needles and bobbins and a pdf copy of the User's Manual.
