Singer 48K Sewing Machine

The model 48K has always been a firm favourite with serious collectors due to its relative scarcity and the unusual technical aspects of its design.

This particularly beautiful 48K sewing machine is complete with its unique shuttle and needle and sews normally.

The machine has the fabulous Ottoman Carnation decals which make it particularly striking and an ideal feature display piece which can still be used. It is generally in very good condition but there are a few small chips in the Japanning, and a longer scratch near the front of the bed. The bright metal parts are all clean with little tarnishing.
