Singer Featherweight 221 Sewing Machine
This 221 was made in 1947 so it has the early scroll pattern faceplate. It is in very good condition with only the very lightest of occasional pin marks on the bed. The enamelling and the gold decals are in good condition with just some slight decal wear along the front edge of the bed.
The machine works perfectly in all respects and has been recently serviced. The rubber mounting feet (bed cushions) are in good condition and not flattened or melted.
The machine is fitted with a very quiet Singer CAK7 motor for 240v European electrical supply. For use in USA / Canada etc. it will be necessary to purchase a small voltage convertor (minimum 100W) which are readily available quite cheaply.
The machine has its original accessories and a scanned copy of the User’s Manual will be supplied as a pdf file. The case is in good clean condition.
The condition is cosmetically very good as can be seen by carefully examining the images below. Clicking on any the images will activate the zoom function.
